New Interest

In January I joined up as a Stampin' Up! independent demonstrator  and since then, I've been so busy with this new handcraft interest (see facebook.com/cardsRfun), that I haven't posted here as much as I was going to. I've put links to my other blogs above.
I'm now holding two workshops a month and attending a variety of related events. I've held stalls at a carnival and garage sale and sold some of my work online.
I've met a lot of lovely ladies and am enjoying the journey. If you need any crafting materials, or want to go to any events, check out my events or online store: phillips.stampinup.net

1930's suitcase

While in Melbourne I found a 1930's suitcase in a vintage shop. It is perfect for my novel "Seekers Finders Finders Keepers: The hiding song" which is set in the period 1938-1948.

NaNoWiMo Winner

I met the challenge. I wrote a 50,000 word novel in the month of November.

A Young Adult's Novel on the Way

I felt like writing again two weeks ago, so began finishing off an illustrated teen novel I started in 2006. It only took me one week to write it and add some more illustrations. Editing is taking longer as I make a few changes and add a few chapters. I have now finished and printed off the first draft. I think it will be part of a series and I have already started writing and thinking about the second book. This is one of the illustrations for the first book. I think it gives an overview of the story.
